Our Engine Improvement Approach
Oftentimes there are also small problems that have a big effect. A defective ignition cable, a sporadically intermittent ignition module, a temperature-related functional disruption to the ignition coil, a worn accelerator pump membrane – all of this and more can ruin any drivability and the accompany V8 joy. Our approach is to strategically detect these problems and then specifically eliminate them. It doesn’t matter whether you have a small block or big block engine. |
If there is no specific customer request, the authenticity of the engine will be maintained. The wear-and-tear parts like the spark plugs, ignition cable, ignition points, and condenser are replaced, and an electronic ignition is installed if needed. Carburetor leaks are fixed by installing an overhaul kit, and the pumping capacity of the fuel pump is checked. For the final fine-tuning of the engine, we use a lambda measurement, a four gas analyzer, and an ignition oscilloscope or an engine tester. A test drive in all different load levels and RPM conditions and the recording of relevant data are important here. |

Implementing useful AFR values in all areas will achieve a high degree of drivability, performance, and efficiency. The engine responds well to throttle input, accelerates smoothly, has a stable idle, and delivers the performance that the particular model can produce. We call this Level 1 in our engine optimization. Want more? Large-volume V8 engines respond very well to useful modifications. This is not just a matter of performance, but above all about stability and improved drivability. For this purpose, we have compiled different performance packages for our customers. In Level 2, the original performance parts are used, while Level 3 and up use a very broadly diversified range of accessories from well-known manufacturers. |
